Dirtiest Thing at a Gas Station… It’s Not in the Bathroom

While some gas station bathrooms are pleasantly cleaner and more stylish than others, we’ve all come across the ones that just… aren’t.

Without question, most individuals would guess that the restroom’s toilet seat is the filthiest place in the station. In fact, there are a number of everyday things that are filthier than a toilet seat—and this one item is clearly one of them.

As it turns out, the filthiest object at a gas station is the pump handle. According to cleantechnica.com, the investigation was organized by “Dr. Germ,” or more frequently recognized as University of Arizona microbiologist Dr. Charles Gerba.

“The results of this new work are pretty obvious—71 percent of all the gas-pump handles that were examined were ‘highly infected’ with all sorts of bacteria most highly linked with illness and disease.”

Depending on what kind of automobile you have, you might be touching this germ-ridden handle way more than you’d like to admit. Fortunately, we have some positive advice.

There are plenty of alternatives to maintain yourself healthy while still running your daily errands — like learning how you’re washing your hands wrong and staying on top of cleaning all of these items in your home.

Please share with friends and family  🙂  😎  😉  😀
